This past Wednesday night at Jac’s Burgers & Shakes, the South Shore Lumberjacks Jr. A Hockey team teamed up with the staff at Jac’s for Jacks Serving Jacs raise money and food donations for the Bridgewater Interchurch Food Bank. The Lumberjacks players and some of the staff were waiting tables, taking donations and spreading a little “early holiday cheer” to try and raise some support for the coming holiday season.

The event was a big hit and Jac’s was packed with ‘Jacks fans, and while service may have been a little bit slower than normal, a good time was had by all, and low an behold, we were actually able to accomplish the raising of $317.50 in cash and 2 banana boxes filled with cans and other non perishable food items.

Pictured below is Debbie Dorey, owner of Jac’s Burgers and Shakes along with Lumberjack Captain, Logan O’Neil, presenting the Bridgewater Interchurch Food Bank with a check in the amount of $317.50.

What a great night and fun way for the community to band together to show support to a great cause and a great organization. If you were there for Jacks Serving Jacs, Thank You! If you weren’t you better get to the next one!
